The Problem to Solve
In enhancing its user onboarding process, the current post-payment flow falls short of providing a smooth transition for users into the content-watching experience. The main challenge arises from users being directed to a settings page with limited interactions, impeding their progression toward content consumption.
Our Solution
Harnessing the insight that users logging in on another device during the trial triples payment likelihood, our approach guides Philo setup on multiple devices. Clear instructions and incentives significantly boost sign-ins, especially on mobile (6.9%) and Fire TV (6%) during an 8-week test, ensuring a widespread platform-wide increase for heightened engagement and satisfaction.
